Silage additives for grass
SilaSure is a 4 strain biological (bacterial) Grass Silage Additive. Bacterial silage additives work by dominating the natural bacterial mircoflora. SilaSure contains four strains of lactic acid bacteria:
- Lactobacillus Plantarum
- Pediococcus Pentosacieus
- Pediococcus Acidilactici
- Lactobacillus Paracasei
SilaSure is available in the following formats:
SilaSure Regular Available in 250 gram sachets. 1 sachet treats 100 tonnes of grass silage. Dissolves in water and applied as a liquid.
SilaSure ULV (Ultra Low Volume) Available in 50 gram bottles. 1 50 gram bottle will treat will treat 50 tonnes of silage. (Click link for detailed application rates)
SilaSure Granular Available in 20kg bags. 1 x 20kg bag treats 50 tonnes of grass silage. Applied with a dry applicator as granules.
Silage additives for Maize & Wholecrop
SilaShield Available in 250 gram sachets. 1 sachet will treat 67 tonnes of Wholecrop or 10 tonnes of Maize or Grass Silage.
Rumisan® Feed Grade Urea Available in 1.050 tonne pallets (42 x 25 kg bags per plt). Urea is an economic non-protein nitrogen (NPN) source for boosting protein levels in ruminant rations. It is also a highly effective preservative for whole grain and wholecrop cereals.
