Cod Liver Oil
Cod Liver Oil has, traditionally, been used to supplement the diets of beef and dairy cattle, sheep, pigs, horses, and dogs.
Cod Liver Oil is a very rich source of :
- Omega 3 Oils,
- EPA and DHA
Cod Liver Oil can, therefore, provide the essential Omega 3 Oils that were traditionally supplied by fish meal.
The use of Cod Liver Oil will also promote a good 'bloom', essential for animals which are being shown.
Please note that, when fed to Dairy Cows, Cod Liver Oil can sometimes reduce butterfats and/or milk proteins. You are advised to take appropriate nutritional advice before including it in your rations.
