Bergafat High C16

BERGAFAT F-100 (BF-100) is a new generation of rumen stable fats.  With 100% fat in the dry matter BF-100 contains approximately 20% more energy than Calcium Soaps, which traditionally have about 80-84% fat content.  Unlike Calcium Soaps, BF-100 doesn't reduce palatability of the diet.

Bergafat is ideal for use in high yielding herds where the maintenance of butterfats and milk proteins is important.

A typical response when BF100 is included as part of a nutritionally balanced diet is as follows:

• 10% Increased milk yield
• 10% increase in fat content
• 10% increase in protein yield
• 20% increase in fat yield

These figures (trial data) are based on the performance of Dairy Cows over 150 days.

Inclusion rates:-

Early Lactation 1st – 4th week post calving
300-400 g/head/day

Peak Lactation 5th -16th week post calving
400-500 g/head/day   

For high performance cows is it possible to feed up to 1000 grammes per head per day.
